With a flair for character roles and a penchant for creating sets, David’s work on stage and behind the scenes has earned him local recognition. He is an award-winning set designer in New Hampshire for Three On A Bench and a ten-time EMACT nominee for set design and set dressing: First Date at Colonial Chorus Players and several Pentucket Players shows, including Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Chicago, Avenue Q, and Sundays in the Park with George.
David enjoys designing and/or constructing various types of sets from Seussical the Musical to Les Misérables and feature pieces such as the barber’s chair for Sweeney Todd and a fieldstone fireplace for Death Trap. David relished the challenge of creating a period set for My Dearest Friend that could be easily transported and assembled at six different venues for the run of the production.
A theatre afficionado, David enjoys attending theatre at all levels with his lovely wife, Laura.
